Singer Featherweight Swedish 221K Sewing Machine, EH003***

Our machine shipping staff is currently teaching Featherweight Maintenance Workshops at MSQC in Hamilton, MO - this machine will not ship until they return, the week of April 17th-23rd.

Stunning unique Featherweight in superb condition.  Completely serviced, cleaned, polished, electrically inspected, timed, tuned and sampled - rest assured, this Featherweight 221K will be ready to sew right out of the case.

 There are a few components of the machine indicating that it was marketed in Sweden: the plaque on the front, the Bakelite-banded motor with gold writing, and the markings on the light housing.  This machine is fitted with its original rare 220-volt motor that has been rewound to 110 voltage to work at optimum speed and torque, so you can plug it in and begin sewing with effortless power.

EH003*** indicates an original production commission date of December 18th, 1951, at Singer's factory in Kilbowie, Scotland. It is given a Grade 8.  Be sure to click on any image above to view the machine for closer detail.  This machine is in great condition with a few scuffs.

The Original Bobbin Case is included, adhering to originality all these years later.  The machine has been serviced and calibrated for quilter’s cotton, so tension is already properly set; however, tension can easily be adjusted depending on fabric needs.

The machine is fitted with an original straited faceplate and the original case includes the top tray for holding the foot controller and some attachments.
